- 98% of employees are Chinese nationals, 2% are expatriates
- P&G China has been recruiting from campus in China for 18 years. More and more Chinese managers have taken up important positions replacing expatriates. As P&G China emphasized a lot on developing Chinese managers to manage China business, even more Chinese managers will take up important positions. However, there will still be a certain number of expatriates working in P&G China. P&G is a global company which believes that only through rotating managers in different positions in different countries can they learn and grow fast in their careers. There will be employees transferred in China and Chinese employees transferred out to work in other subsidiaries to meet both the business needs and personal growth needs. Therefore, management localization will not be 100% as it means differently for a global company like P&G.
